How is Premium billed?
€8 per month or €80 per year (two months free), billed via credit card or SEPA. Prices include EU VAT where applicable. Switch between monthly and yearly any time.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — one click from your account page. You keep Premium until the end of the current billing period, then roll back to Free without losing any notes.
How is the Free tier limited?
Free covers up to 50 notes, each up to 8,000 characters. The markdown editor, tags, wiki-links, ⌘K palette, fuzzy search, pin, trash, and export are all fully unlocked. The AI features — live transcription, AI Transform, and Recipes — are Premium-only.
Why no AI on Free?
Transcription calls Whisper and AI Transform / Recipes call LLM APIs — both are billed per minute and per token on our side, regardless of how many users share the cost. Unlimited AI on a free tier would end in rate-limits and shut-downs. Premium is €8/month (or €80/year, two months free) and honestly covers the real usage cost.
Does the Free tier expire?
Never. Free is free forever. If you outgrow the note count or character ceiling, or decide you want the AI features, upgrading to Premium is one click.
